The Portugal street festival bathes the streets of Agueda with gorgeous color and shade provided by the colorful floating umbrellas. Lasting from July to September, the attraction has become quite a boon to tourism for the Portuguese city in its three years of existence. While there, visitors can purchase the clay pottery, handmade baskets, and knitten crafts the region is well known for, or sample the local wines and sparkling drinks of the Bairrada style.
